As a member of the Chamber Action Network, the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce to present Business Day in Annapolis 2012! Business Day in Annapolis on Thursday, January 19, 2012, will connect hundreds of business leaders with decision makers in Annapolis to promote a strong pro-business, pro-jobs agenda. This event, which will be held at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, beginning at 7:30 a.m., is an outstanding opportunity to:
- Network with hundreds of other Maryland business leaders from around the state.
- Learn about the impact federal budget cuts will have on Maryland from Congressman Christopher Van Hollen (D-Dist. 8).
- Preview the 2012 General Assembly session with the legislature’s presiding officers and minority leaders.
- Promote the 2012 Business Agenda.
- Visit your legislators until 12:00 noon.
Following the open visitations with legislators, the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon highlighting the Prince George's Delegation at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott from 12:30-2:30 p.m. featuring a keynote address by Dr. Charlene Dukes, President, Prince George's Community College.
